Cities. There is something extraordinary about the cities we live in. Some, we are born into by default, some we nurture inside us. Some, we watch evolve with time, some watch us grow. Some grow just too quickly, while some feel the same even after years. What if we all counted our lives in terms of the cities we've lived in? Some cities that stay with us while some just run out of the sight. Some that we embrace to make a home in. Some cities come with strangers, some which startle us from the bubbles we live in and some subtly become part of our lives.
Some cities that we lose while some that lose us, completely.
Some cities keep secrets but never would a city lie to you. No matter how peculiar the first encounter may be, some cities bring out something within you, something that you wouldn't even know existed. There are cities, when you let them gaze at you, you can never be the same again. Then, there are cities, everyone would've heard of, but no one would really visit.
There are songs, so beautiful that we wish they were longer and then, there are cities. Both can be replayed again if not expanded. Eventually, one would get tired of both, the song and the city. The exquisite thing about such songs and cities is that the charm they carry is never lost.
Cities. One of those few things that come in all shapes, sizes and colours. So, when one does approach you, embrace it!
Not every city comes with a long list of exciting places to be visited, some just contain an incredible number of glorious sights at just one place, waiting to be discovered.
Such, one unusually usual city, Kurukshetra.
